1989 Ford Mustang 5.0 Road Race Car

This car is not a street legal....it's a full blown road race car. You will not be able to tag it for street use unless a few things are re-installed into the car. I just had a baby, so money & time are tight now, & I just can't justify racing at this point in my life, but I will later on !!

Fresh engine and transmission, both just rebuilt, & have no track time on them.
The engine is a standard 5.0 Mustang 302, stock for CMC & obviously very hot rod-able if you intend to race it elsewhere. The battery was relocated to the rear for weight distribution, & there is an oil accumulator in the cockpit. The car has a full inner cage, & is stripped to the bone.
Brake pressure adjuster inside cockpit for front/rear pressure changes.
There is a video camera mount, mounted fire extinguisher, & a new race seat with a full 5 pt harness.
The floor panels were beefed up for engine heat. Toyo Tires have maybe 2 or 3 weekends left on them, & I
have 1 extra with about the same wear. 2 chamber flowmasters & H-pipe come with the car, but it's now just straight pipes because VIR (VA Intl Raceway) has no sound restrictions !! H-pipe bolts right back on easily.

All gauges work except the speedo. External battery kill switch is located next to rear tag mount screw for
emergency crews to kill battery in an accident. Race rear view mirror & window net. Doors are not welded shut.

Very much race ready. Car runs very, very strong & stout on 87 gas if you choose. The trans is perfect & tight. The car handles like a dream & hugs the corners, & the Koni shocks are adjustable. The suspension is set up very well now for both a high or low speed track. It doesn't push & it won't get loose on you.
