$42,500.00
Real 1970 RS Z/28 (565 cu in.dynoed 823 HP).This car is absolutely beautiful,and very street friendly.
This is an original RS Z/28 the factory color is code 17-17 (Shadow Grey). This is the real deal,it has the floor mounted gas pedal.rear bumper guards, and the 150 mph speedo and 8 grand tach. Also has the welded frame mounts for the rear sway bar.The car was restored in 2000 at that time it had new GM quarters installed along with outer wheel wells. The fenders and doors are original GM,the car has absolutely no filler. At the time of the restoration a 4" fiberglass hinged hood was added. The car was painted Black with white stripes. All doors and gaps fit very nicely ,the paint is still EXTREMELY nice. The car still has it's original floor pans which are totally rust free and in great condition.
The interior has the original dash, dash cluster and headliner,Both front and rear seats were reskinned along with new front and rear carpet,The center console is original and in very nice condition. All gauges and turn signals work as the should, the radio is a factory original appearing (digital) with a great sound. The interior is a very nice mix of original and restored pieces that looks fantastic.
Now for the drive train, the original motor is long gone.In it's place is a 565 CU.IN. Dart block with 12:5-1 compression,4-1/4 stroke,Brodax heads,Doug Herbert roller,Eagle H beam rods,4340 crank,Chiles&Albert gapless rings,Brodax intake,850 holley, mallory ignition.A complete aerospace components crank case vacuum system,2-1/2 inch ceramic coated Hooker headers with a complete out the back exhaust system, and much much more. The motor dynoed 823 HP and carried 790 lbs of torque. The radiator is a aluminum be-cool with dual fans, there is NEVER any over heating issues. The Transmission is a fresh M22 Rockcrusher fine spline. The rear end is a GM 12 bolt with Auburn31 spline axles(I think) and Richmond 410 gears,Hays clutch with aluminum fly wheel. The frame has also been tied and has competition engineered traction bars.
Factory wheels with 235/15 on ft. and 275/15 on rear, front disc brakes, rear drums.NEEDLESS to say this car is an absolute monster when you turn it on.If you run 20-25 lbs of air pressure in the rear tires,It will SORT OF HOOK UP.This car is really an awesome car that will pretty much scare the crap out of anyone in it or next to it.
