70 Pontiac GTO Pro Street

Body: Fiberglass front clip, fiberglass hood, fiberglass trunk lid w/ Judge spoiler, stretched quarter panels, steel doors, all windows are glass not Lexan, front clip and trunk held on with dzus fasteners, Chromemoly full cage (not mild steel), sport mirrors

Engine: 474ci Pontiac engine, Scat 6.8 rods w/ upgraded bolts, offest ground crank w/ 2.200 rod brgs, 3.250 mains, Ross flattop forged pistons (7.7:1 compression), Canton oil pan, Melling HD oil pump, billet oil pump shaft, Cloyes timing chain, Comp cams solid roller camshaft .609/.609 lift 268/276 @ .050 duration 114LS, Comp Cams solid roller lifters, Comp Cams 9.500 chromemoly pushrods, remote dual oil filter, Meziere electric water pump, SFI flexplate, MSD billet distributor, Taylor wires with billet wire looms, 100 amp chrome alternator

Blower Setup: BDS Stage 2 8-71 blower that is presently 1:1 drive, Offenhauser Blower intake, 2" carb adapter plate to allow carb linkage clearance, NOS Nitrous plate w/ Stainless Steel tubing, Holley 750 Supercharger carbs that are boost referenced, Aluminum blower scoop

Trans: Turbo 375 reverse pattern w/ deep pan, 8" 5500 ATI stall converter, Shifter is a Hurst Lightning Rod w/ reverse pattern. Trans cooler w/ stainless lines.

Rear: Ford 9" Detroit Locker w/ 4.11's 35 spline Strange axles

Paint: Orange Glow PPG Candy paint over a silver base. 7 coats of Orange Glow and 10 coats of clear w/ wet sanding and buffing. All PPG components during painting. The car changes from a Goldish-Orange in the sun to a Copper-Bronze color in the shade or cloudy conditions.

Interior: Porsche 944 seats, custom dash w/ 10 Autometer gauges, Custom console w/ Hurst Lightning Rod shifter, Billet steering wheel that is removable and is custom wrapped, custom made water tank behind seats for intercooler use, Nitrous bottle painted to match car w/ billet aluminum brackets, custom steering column, rollcage mounted control panel w/ switches, G-Force 5 point harnesses, custom embroidered door panels and seats (Pontiac Indian head on seats, and inside trunk...... Pontiac Indian head and Pontiac Arrowheads on door panels), Judge emblem on glove box, billet gas pedal and brake pedal, all rollbars covered with foam and custom wrapped with material..... All interior is Allante Lambskin colored simulated leather

Tires and Wheels: Weld Pro Stars 15X4 front and 15X14 rear, 33X18.5 MT ET Streets on rear and 28X7.5 Sportsman fronts

Suspension: Ladder bar rear w/ AFCO coilover shocks, Rack and pinion front with AFCO coilover shocks, chrome upper control arms, crossdrilled front rotors,

Fuel system: 16 gallon aluminum fuel cell, Barry Grant BG280 fuel pump for motor with 1/2" stainless lines, high flow BG regulator, Stainless tubing fuel lines for carbs, Holley blue pump w/ 1/2" aluminum line for nitrous side, AFCO dual fuel filters

Exhaust: Custom made headers w/ 2" primary tubes and 3-1/2" collectors, Hedman adapter plates to convert D-port heads to larger tubes, 3-1/2" exhaust from colletor back through 3-1/2" PYPES Performance Exhaust Race Pro mufflers into 3" custom bent tailpipes with PYPES Performance Exhaust custom tips similar to stock 70 GTO tips only larger. The pipes from the collector back to the rear are easily removable w/ Satinless Steel band clamps. Two minutes and you are uncapped.

Other stuff: Dual master cylinder brakes, Griffin HUGE aluminum radiator, Flex-A-Lite 290 dual electric fans (moves 5500cfm!!), Stainless upper and lower radiator hoses with screw on fittings...not clamps, quick detach front wiring harness for easy removal of front clip, MSD6AL ignition, Fuel pressure isolator, adjustable proportioning valve, Wheelie bars, aluminum overflow bottle, aluminum front engine plate and 1/8" steel mid plate, driveshaft safety loop, billet steering column firewall pass thru, window net, custom aluminum inner fender panels and firewall, battery shutoff switch

This is the car that had the double blower setup on it. It has been changed back to a single 8-71 blower. This car got all the attention anyone could ever want and even has a fine sponsor in PYPES Performance Exhaust. It has made the rounds from Detroit at the Woodward Dream Cruise to Myrtle Beach at the Run to the Sun car show. Other places I have been with the car are Atco NJ, Atlantic City NJ, Maple Grove Pa, Richmond Va, Ocean City Md, Louisville Ky, Norwalk Oh, Harrington De, and all over Maryland.

This car is perfect for cruising to the local burger joint or any weekend show. It isn't a perfect ISCA turntable, mirrors on the floor trailer queen. It was built to be driven. Drive it anywhere as long as you put gas in it!! It doesn't overheat or have bad manners while driving. I have driven this car in 4th of July parades over 90 degrees outside for over an hour and never got above 190. Driven it in bumper to bumper traffic at the Cruisin Ocean City events and never had an issue with the car.

This car has been featured in the Feb. 2007 issue of High Performance magazine (cover shot), has won Best Pro Street at the 2005 Pontiac Nationals, Best Heavy Modified GTO 64-2006 at the GTO Nationals in 2006, and appeared in several other magazines, newspaper articles, and internet websites.

Anyways, I have decided to change directions and want to go back racing. I may be interested in trades if you have a Pontiac powered or Pontiac bodied car. If you are interested in the double blower setup to go with the car, I can reinstall it after purchase. The second blower doesn't come with the car. Details can be worked out.
