The 10.50" live axle rear end is designed to withstand loads that can destroy many drag racing rear ends. The top load design provides convenient inspection, but more importantly the Strange designed case does not provide an opening (front or rear load type) that is in line with the drive wheel - dramatically reducing wheel imposed distortion and increasing gear life.
